Devil May Cry 3

Storyline

Long before Dante became a renowned demon hunter, he received a challenge and invitation from his long-estranged twin brother, Virgil. A colossal demonic tower called Temen-ni-gru suddenly erupted from the ground, setting the stage for their battle. With a fierce and cold ambition, Vergil attempted to open the gates of the demon world to gain the full power of his father, Sparda. For Dante, this was a thrilling challenge and a battle, and he gladly climbed the perilous tower to meet and confront his twin brother, who had chosen the path of darkness.

During his ascent, Dante encounters Lady, a human demon hunter who also harbors a personal vendetta within the tower. Their complex relationship reveals that both are mere pawns in Arkham’s devious plan to seize demonic power for himself. After a brief, tentative partnership to defeat a common enemy, Dante and Vergil’s feud escalates. In their final duel, Vergil chooses to live in the demon world, leaving his twin brother Dante behind, and the loss he feels leads him to name his shop “Devil May Cry.”
